My Mamas Green Onion Chip Dip
1 8oz package of softened cream cheese
1 16oz of sour cream
2 bunches/approximately 16 green onions finely chopped
1 tsp. of onion salt
In a large bowl with a form fitting lid, mix the cream cheese and sour cream (use a hand held mixer if necessary). Add the onion salt and green onions, stir. Refrigerate for an hour or two til set, will keep for up to a week in the refrigerator.
Goes well with any corn or rippled chip(s).
Chili Cheese Dip
1 8oz package of cream cheese
1 15oz can of no bean chili
1 8oz package of colby-jack shredded cheese
In a microwave safe dish add cream cheese and the can of chili. Heat for 3 minutes, stir, and top with the entire package of colby-jack cheese. Microwave for another 2-3 minutes just until cheese is melted.
Allow to sit at room temperature for a minute or two so nobody burns their lips.
Perfect with any salted tortilla chip
